A55 Traffic

All aboard!

Did you know the A55 road is also known as the North Wales Expressway? Yes, way! All that A55 traffic sounds like it’s on some kind of railway line. But just to clarify, it’s not a railway line; it really is a place where A55 traffic travels on every day.

If you don’t believe us check out our range of a55 traffic cameras now. In the meantime, in between looking at our A55 cameras, we’re going to spice things up a bit and give you a breakdown of the service stations you could stop at and, more importantly, what you can eat when you get there!

Bangor Services

So what can you eat here?

Well if its breakfast time, maybe you want to tuck into a nice egg breakfast from Subway or Greggs. Or, if you’re in a mad rush, maybe check out the Costa Express and grab a coffee to go.

For lunch and even dinner you’ve got a lot more options. A foot long sub maybe from Subway or a tuna baguette from Greggs. But if you’re thinking what we’re thinking, it’s got to be a Burger King Whopper!

Please note we aren’t getting any sponsorship money from any of the brands mentioned in this article – hint, hint.

You can comfortably tuck into your food whilst you watch the A55 traffic pass you by. Or from a different perspective, use Traffic Cameras to watch A55 traffic cameras.

Gateway Services, Ewloe

Right, we’re well on our way now! Interestingly there’s both an Eastbound and Westbound service station and depending on where you land – A55 traffic wise – will decide on what you get.

Let’s say you’re heading Eastbound. So again breakfast wise it’s the usual suspects though instead of a Subway you’ve now got a Starbucks. Not a bad replacement but not the same either – mainly in the wallet department! You can’t beat a Starbucks coffee however, sorry Costa.

Quick tip – if in doubt check out the A55 cameras on our site to ensure the A55 traffic is on the low side before travelling.

Now, if you’re heading Westbound, you may well have struck food gold! Ok, so no Starbucks or Greggs – not quite the end of the world. But what do you get instead?

The big M for starters! Maccies otherwise known as McDonald’s is a bit of an all rounder. McMuffin to start your day, big Mac in between things and maybe Chicken Royale to end things. Honestly, the choices are never ending.

But that’s not where the fun ends. There’s also an OK Diner and a Deli2Go to cater to a wider audience. Whatever your palate, we’re pretty confident it’ll be covered. Also check The Heart of the UK

Kinmel Park, St Asaph

Last but not least, Kinmel Park. So you’ve checked out the A55 traffic cameras on our site, yes we’ve got tons of A55 cameras, and avoided all that nasty A55 traffic. You’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner along the route.

Just as well as unfortunately of the service stations we’re having a look at today, food wise your options are slightly limited.

Starbucks if you’ve got a bit of money in your wallet, Greggs if you’re wallet bandwidth is a bit restricted. That’s not to say you still won’t be able to get something great for your journey, it’s just maybe not going to fill you up like the others.

And that’s a wrap! We thought we’d do something a bit different and rather than talk about boring A55 traffic, A55 traffic cameras and even just A55 cameras, we’d talk about food.

We all love food at the end of the day. If you happen to stop at any of these stations please comment below and let us know if our advance warning to what’s on offer helped you along the way.

To be fair food and traffic are always having a trade off. If there’s no A55 traffic, there’s no opportunity to stop for some food. Likewise if you spot lots of cars on our A55 traffic cameras, you’re going to potentially stop for a burger, or two!

Our library of A55 cameras will ensure you’ll know in advance what the traffic looks like. But instead of avoiding the food hotspots, as you now know what’s on offer you’re going to make sure you check them out aren’t you?

Come on Greggs, Starbucks, McDonald’s, Costa, get that cheque in the post (please).
